You'll be amazed how good a tired old guitar can look after a MGR refurb! Even if your guitar has played every smoky bar in Texas (or Watford) the dirt isn't part of the look. Chipped, worn finish and oxidised hardware looks great. Crud doesn't - and it gets in the way of the tone you're after from a well played axe. We can spot repair finish blemishes and dings, touch up paint flakes and re-polish your guitar. We don't currently offer a refinishing service. That is, we don't strip old finish and apply new. We have not found the price that the market will bear to be economic for us to provide this service. Sorry. Our expertise for repairs is extensive and we will willingly tackle most jobs: - Acoustic Guitars

We will give you honest advice on what can be done to repair your beloved instrument. Let's face it new guitars are relatively cheap and sometimes it's just not worth repairing an old clunker - unless it has great sentimental value! We look forward to meeting you and talking guitar! Here's a repair we did recently for a customer who was dissatisfied with some changes to the fretboard a previous owner of his 4 string active Overwater bass had made. The repair necessitated the removal of the fingerboard and it's replacement with a new one made of Wenge plus a refret. The bridge cavity also needed to be shimmed to accommodate the higher fretboard.
